"The Tsukuba Science & Art Experience"
International Cultural Exchange Event
Sponsored by the Association for Japan-U.S. Community Exchanges
財団法人日米地域間交流推進協会

The Association for Japan-U.S. Community Exchanges (ACE) is sponsoring a one-day trip to Tsukuba City to visit the Tsukuba Space Center and Gallery Saika (ceramics art gallery/studio), where the children will learn about Japan’s contribution to the International Space Station and participate in a hands-on ceramic arts learning experience from local artisan Saika Ebinuma.

Due to the limited size of the artist’s studio, this tour is limited to 10 children (ages 12-14), and reservations will be taken on a “first request” basis. Two members from ACE (Shinji Sheena, managing director; Tom Gerrard, director) will accompany the children, and two more parent volunteer chaperons are being sought.
